Table Talk | Keema Curry

I am so excited to introduce my first and newest series at Era For Sarah, Table Talk! Over the last year I have really started to find joy in cooking and entertaining. Table Talk will be a series where you can find my signature recipes, tablescape ideas, entertaining tips, and more.

Here in the Dhanani household we cook multiple times a week, most of the time we are cooking for two, but we do occasionally entertain our friends and family. When we do have company over, I always struggle coming up with a meal that everyone will like. Over the last year I have been using my husband and family as my guinea pigs to test out recipes that I have either, adapted from my mom, or stumbled upon online. I think I have finally come up with a handful that everyone really enjoys.

First on the list is Keema Curry. Keema is a traditional meat dish from the Indian subcontinent. It is typically a minced meat curry with peas and potatoes. I love cooking dishes from all over the world and Keema was always a classic Indo-Pak dish in my home growing up. After making some minor changes to the family recipe, I can proudly say it is a staple in our home.
