TABLE TALK | AUTHENTIC BRUSCHETTA APPETIZER

Summer is quickly approaching and that can only mean one thing. Get-togethers! Whether it be an outdoor shindig or a sophisticated dinner party, you’re going to need to feed these people! Although I love cooking for the group, I usually cater the main meal (especially if I am serving more than five people) but I always attempt to include one dish that is homemade.

Hubs and I have been loving this fresh and simple bruschetta recipe that we learned from our cooking class in Barcelona, Spain. It always takes us back to one of our favorite European cities. Of course, the ingredients taste slightly different because they’re obviously not as fresh as in Europe, but the meal is amazing nonetheless. The best thing about this appetizer recipe is that you probably have all these ingredients in your pantry and fridge right now! There are countless variations of bruschetta, but this simple yet flavorful one is my absolute favorite. Although I am curious of how it tastes with balsamic drizzled on top, if anyone has tried that let me know which one you loved more!
