TABLE TALK | HEALTHY SEEKH KABAB

One of my greatest memories growing up is having my entire extended family over for a huge gathering at least once a year. The one thing I remember from these get-togethers is my mom serving a ginormous platter of seekh-kababs over rice for everyone. It was no-doubt, my absolute favorite food ever and these kababs were my favorite part about these parties.   

My mom grills these on the stove one by one, but in order to save time — I learned that baking them is much simpler and saves you the calories of oil on the pan. The best part is, the taste is the same!

Even though eating these kababs with basmati rice is my favorite, when we make this on a weekday we often omit the rice and eat it with a salad or naan to save the calories!
