Our first stop in Italy was Milan and on our last night there, we made reservations at a restaurant that was infamous for it’s Cacio e Pepe (in fact that’s also what the restaurant was called so you know it’s legit). So naturally, that’s what I ordered. BEST. PASTA. EVER.
I honestly thought about the dish the entire trip and kept ordering Caico e Pepe every time I would see it on the menu. Although the others were good, they weren’t as good as the restaurant in Milan — and after taking a break from pasta once we got back, I finally decided to give this dish a try.
This recipe comes from one of my favorite YouTubers and celebrity chef, Laura Vitale. Her cookbook is my guilty pleasure and even though I bookmarked half of the book, this one is my absolute favorite so far.
Can you say affordable, at home date night?
